Jeanne M. (Doherty) McNally, 86, of Medway died Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at the Medway Country Manor Nursing Home. She was the wife of John F. McNally who died in 1997.
Born in Boston on September 26, 1924, she was the daughter of the late William P. and Claire (Fells) Doherty.
Mrs. McNally grew up in Arlington and resided in Amherst, NH and Franklin until moving to Medway three years ago.
She was a graduated of Arlington High School and served in the U.S. Navy during WWII as a lab technician.
A homemaker most of her life, Mrs. McNally had worked odd jobs and for many years at the former Swiss Chalet Hotels.
Mrs. McNally enjoyed traveling; especially her trips to Ireland.
She is survived by five children, Jan Jones of Cambridge, Joanne Magarian and her husband Dan of Concord, NH, John McNally and his wife Kathleen West of Arlington, Jane DiMartino and her husband David of Franklin and James McNally and his wife Kimberly of Amherst, NH and six grandchildren.
She was the grandmother of the late Jessie Jones and sister of the late Patricia Randolph and Phillip and William Doherty.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass on Tuesday, April 19 at St. Mary’s Church in Franklin at 10 a.m.
