Riddle, Janet, 73, passed away Thursday April 14, 2011 at Norton Hospital.
She was born in Oriole, IN to Albert & Flora (Gibson) Smitley.
She was an Office Clerk at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital with 20 years service.
She was a loyal member of Mt. Everest General Baptist Church and had a dual membership in the Eastern Star, Southern Star Chapter # 154 and Harmony Chapter # 273 O.E.S. Janet was a past Grand Officer for Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her twin brother: Jack Smitley.
Survivors include her loving husband of 56 years Billy M. Riddle; her daughters: Debbie England (Tim) and Penny Caffee (Craig "Boo"); 5 grandchildren: Linda Lewis (Chris), Amanda Caffee, Craig Caffee, Amy England, Andy England; 2 great grandchildren: Sydney and Jackson Lewis; 2 Brothers: Ernie (Linda) and Randy (Barbara) Smitley;
sister-in-law: Katherine Smitley.
Funeral service will be 12 Noon Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be Saturday 6 - 9 PM, Sunday 2 - 8 PM and Monday 9 - 12 PM. expressions of sympathy: Louisville Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
