Felice DiPietro, of Medford died at home Wednesday night in the company of his loving family. He was 81.
Born and raised in Bonita, Avellino, Italy, he was the son of the late Carmine and the late Alessandrina (Tufo) DiPietro. Felice brought his family to the United States in 1971 and lived in Boston’s North End before settling in Medford in 1978. Felice worked hard to provide a beautiful life for his family. He was devoted to his family and especially enjoyed being with his grandchildren. He liked to take regular trips to flee markets and loved to garden, producing a wide variety of vegetables for his family and friends.
The beloved husband of Maria “Lina” (Chioccariello), he was a devoted and loving father to Carmine DiPietro and his wife Deborah of Watertown, CT, Alessandra Pereira and her husband Manuel of Tewksbury, Maria Antonietta Martinez and her husband Jorge of Malden. He leaves his loving grandchildren: Monica, Natasha, Nadia, Carmine, Jorge and Daniela.
His Funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Saturday, April 16th, at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4 - 8. Services will conclude with entombment at Holy Cross Chapel Hill Mausoleum.
