Obituary

Struzik Sr., Alfred M. of Quincy, passed away April 11, 2011. Beloved husband , Loretta (Currivan) Struzik of Quincy. Devoted father of Mick Struzik and his wife Susan of Squantum, Joseph Struzik and his wife Cheryl of South Easton and Thomas Struzik and his wife Kristen of Bridgewater. Loving grandfather of Michael, Matthew and Lauren Struzik of Squantum, Jonathan and Sarah Struzik of So. Easton, Benjamin, Ella and Madeline of Bridgewater. Alfred was lovingly raised by his late sister Charlotte Struzik. Alfred was the brother of Jean, Helen, Charlotte, Alice, Josephine, Edward, Stanley, Henry and Chester.

Alfred was born in Boston and raised in South Boston. Alfred worked for the Boston Navy yard for 35 years before retiring in 1979, Al continued to work for several years at State Street Bank in Quincy and Boston. He was a member of the North Quincy Knights of Columbus and the St. Ann’s Bowling League. Alfred enjoyed fishing, gardening and tinkering with things around the house. He was an avid Rex Sox fan. Most of all Alfred loved spending time with his family. WWII Navy Veteran.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:00 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Czestochowa, South Boston at 10 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
