Mr. Theodore (Ted) Allen Rooker, Jr., age 66, of Pinnacle, passed away on, Friday, April 8, 2011 at Northern Surry Hospital. He was born on August 28, 1944 in Vance County, to the late Theodore Allen Sr. and Flora Mae Owens Rooker. Mr. Rooker is retired from Route Sales for UTZ Snack Company; a member of Henderson United Methodist Church and enjoyed Music and Karaoke with lots of friends. Mr. Rooker is survived by one daughter; Carlee Rooker, and her mother, Susan Rooker, both of Chapel Hill; four grandchildren, Mackenzie, Kelsie, Kendra and Camden Malcomb; two brothers and sister-in-laws, Kevin and Joyce Rooker of Newport, NC and Dwight and Amy Rooker of Archdale; one sister and brother-in-law, Dawn and Owen Wright of Salterpath, SC; his uncle, Johnny Owens, of Edenton, NC; a special family member, Tonya McClain, of Burlington, NC, his loving girlfriend, Kimberly Vicks; and lots of special friends. A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Cox-Needham Chapel at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Danny Hall and Darrell Fulton officiating.
