SHREWSBURY-Gertrude F. Cummings, 95, died Saturday, April 9, 2011. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Patrick B. and Mary (White) Cummings. She was predeceased by her brother Paul M. Cummings and her sister Mary K. Cummings.
Gertrude graduated from Classical High School and attended Becker College. She was employed at Wyman Gordon for 27 years, retiring in December, 1983. She was a longtime member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church and its music guild, the Worcester Art Museum, Christ the King Church Social Club and Mechanics Hall.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, April 13 from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester with a Mass at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 25 Fales Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery. A visiting hour will also be held on Wednesday from 9:30-10:30 AM in the funeral home.
