Arthur J. Dionne, 81, of Manchester, died January 20, 2004, at the Elliot Hospital, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Manchester, February 9, 1922, he was the son of Hormidas and Aurore (Amelotte) Dionne. He was a lifelong resident of this city.
He was an army veteran of World War II and was the recipient of the Purple Heart and the Silver Star. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans.
Mr. Dionne retired from Silver Brothers where he worked for 40 years.
Family members include his wife of 59 years, Clara G. (Rybczyk) Dionne of Manchester; two daughters, Sandra B. Chauvette of Manchester, and Joyce M. Page of Goffstown; two grandchildren, Tracy Chauvette of Manchester, and Jason Page of Goffstown; four sisters, Cora Hudon, Georgette Chauvette, both of Manchester, Marie Miville of Hooksett, and Doris Couture of Manchester; many nieces and nephews.
