WORCESTER: Doris M. (Menard) Hodges, 87 of 101 Randolph Rd., died Saturday, April 9 after a brief illness.
She leaves two sons David Dufault and his wife Sandy of Worcester, Peter Dufault and his wife Carole of Sutton, a daughter Susan Button and her husband Robert of East Brookfield, a daughter-in-law Laurie Dufault of Sunderland, VT, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and her long time companion Edward Kelley of St. Petersburg, FL. She was pre-deceased by a son John Dufault.
Doris was born in Leicester, daughter of Alcide and Flora (Veltheim) Menard. She lived most of her life in Barre and East Brookfield before moving to Worcester. She wintered in St. Petersburg, FL.up until recently. Doris was very active physically. She continued to walk several miles a day. Her other great enjoyments came from swimming, bicycling and her family.
At Doris’s request no funeral services are planned. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association of Eastern MA, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472. J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer is directing arrangements.
