Obituary

MARSHEL HAYCRAFT, 75, died Saturday, April 9, 2011.

He was born in Grayson County, October 18, 1935, a son of Jack and Flora (Meredith) Haycraft.

He was retired from Pillsbury, an Army Veteran and a Baptist by faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, 3 sisters and his first wife, Doris.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy; a daughter, Sally Hibbs (Doug) and son, Alan Haycraft; two step-children, Susan Martin and Patrick Cook; 3 grandchildren, Jarod, Chase and Ally Hibbs; seven step grandchildren; 2 brothers, Elvis (Margaret) and Delmer (Jean) Haycraft; sisters, Roberta Van Meter; many wonderful nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; two brothers of the heart, J.B. Anderson and Charlie Adkisson; and his beloved dog, Maxine.

Visitation will be Monday 4pm-8pm at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway and Tuesday after 9am CST until the service 1pm CST at Dermitt Funeral Home, 306 W. Main St., Leitchfield, with burial in Leitchfield Memorial Gardens.
