Thomas Matthew Carter, age 20, of Nicholls, GA passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2011 from injuries received in an automobile accident. Mr. Carter was a farmer in the Nicholls area. He was born on August 3, 1990 in Douglas, GA. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2011 in the Holiness Baptist Campground at 4:00 p.m. with interment following in the Roxie Mae Cemetery. Survivors include: parents: Michael and Cindy Carter, Nicholls, GA; brother: Michael Olaf Carter, Nicholls, GA; grandmother: Bonnie Southerland, Nicholls, GA; special friends: Donovan Faulk, Axson, GA and Brice Murray. Mr. Carter was preceded in death by: grandparents: Bay and Ione Carter and G. W. And Louise Cothern and a special uncle: Keith Southerland. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 8, 2011 from 6:00 p.m to 10:00 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
