Raymond L. Gagnon, age 74, of Fall River passed away April 6, 2011. He was the husband of the late Blanche (Lavoie) Gagnon and the son of the late Raymond and Lucienne (Dumais) Gagnon. Prior to retiring, Raymond worked at the Fall River Herald News in the mailroom and part time at the Social Security Administration in Fall River; previously he worked for Princess House in the shipping department. He was a lifetime member of the East End Sportsman Club where he was known as the “Beloved Bartender”.
Raymond was the father of Michelle Gagnon and Paul & his wife Patty (Paragon) Gagnon all of Fall River, companion of Karen “Chickie” Raposa of Tiverton, brother of Pauline Hague (husband James) of Charlton, MA and Charles Gagnon of Dorchester and the uncle to several nieces & nephews.
His funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME 1521 N. Main St., Fall River SATURDAY at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anne’s Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours FRIDAY 4-8 P.M.
