Frank Hogan, 95, of Fitzgerald, died Tuesday, January 20, 2004, at Fitzgerald Nursing Home.
Memorial services will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday, January 24, 2004 at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel, Fitzgerald, Georgia, with Rev. J.A. Clements officiating. Interment will follow in Big Creek Cemetery, Irwin County, Georgia.
Mr. Hogan was born, February 22, 1908 in Irwin County, Georgia to the late Samuel R. and Ella Lee McDaniel Hogan. He moved back to the community in 1999 from Franklin, NC and was also a former resident of Fort Lauderdale, Florida for 50 years where he worked as a welder. Mr. Hogan was a former Mason and a member of Dorminy Mill Baptist Church.
Survivors include: Nephews: Calvin Hogan and C.H. Hogan, both of Fitzgerald; Nieces: Myrtice Miller, Valdosta and Maxine Spinks, Jefferson, GA; Sister-in-law: Lois Hogan, Ocilla
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to donor’s area hospice.
