SCOTT, Stanley, age 56 of Englewood, NJ, formerly of Buffalo, NY, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2011.
Beloved son of the late Margaree and Willie James Scott. Devoted father of Charity Lee. Loving grandfather of Maya and Malik Lee. Dear Nephew of Rev. Broadus Jones, Juanita Neal, Rufus Jones and Doris Jones. Stanley was loved and will be missed by all. In particular his sisters Adrienne Barnes, Patricia Haynes, and Daphne Simms, cousins Larry Walker and Felicia Maddox, special friend Paula Dowds, devoted Godmother Mary Alice and Goddaughter Erica Maclin.
Stanley was a successful restaurateur having owned Silky’s Ribs in Hackensack, NJ, and Stanley’s Stop and Cop Chicken Shop in Englewood, NJ.
Friends and family are invited for visitation from 6-9 PM at Volk Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, NJ on Friday, April 8th. A funeral service will begin at 10 AM at the funeral home on Saturday, April 9th. Interment to follow at Garden of Memories Mausoleum, Washington Twp, NJ.
