Obituary

Henry W. ”Butch” Ryan III, 60 years, of Brockton died January 5, 2004, Monday morning at his home after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Patricia D. (Boudreau) Ryan.Mr. Ryan was born in Boston son of the late Henry W. Ryan, II and Sylvia (Sutherland) Ryan. For the past 37 years he had been a resident of Brockton, previously living in Randolph and Dorchester.Mr. Ryan was a graduate of South Boston High School Class of 1961. He had worked for 7 years at Northrop Grummond in Norwood as a production Controller. Previousvly he worked for 18 years at Union Gear and Sprocket in Quincy. Member of the Polish White Eagles Club in Brockton. He was an avid football fan and in the late 1960’s he played football for the Saxons Football team in Dorchester.

He is survived by his wife Patricia D. (Boudreau) Ryan, two stepsons, Peter M. Skaltsis of E. Bridgewater and Robert J. Skaltsis of Stoneham, two grandsons, one sister Jean M. Newcomb of Hull, a brother Thomas A. Ryan of New York and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Butch’s life will be held on Saturday January 24, 2004 at the Polish White Eagles Club, 40 Emerson Avenue, Brockton, from 2 to 6 pm.
