Frances J. “Franny” (Fernandes) MacLeod, 52, of Medway died March 30 after a lengthy illness.
She was the wife of William MacLeod.
Born in Boston, June 14, 1958, the daughter of Ruth (Lapham) Fernandes of Medway and the late Arthur Fernandes, Mrs. MacLeod had lived in Medway for most of her life.
She was a 1976 graduate of Medway High School.
Mrs. MacLeod had been a night auditor at several area hotels.
Franny loved to bowl and play bingo and was a devoted mother and grandmother.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her children, Nicole Fernandes of Worcester and a son Joshua MacLeod of Medway.
She is also survived by her brother Arthur Fernandes, Jr., and his wife Annmarie of Milford and her sisters Carolyn Foster and her husband Wayne of Medway and Anita Cato and her husband William of Lunenberg.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Samantha and Peter, many nieces and nephews and a dear friend Carl Williams.
Her funeral Mass will be held on Thursday April 7 in St. Joseph Church, Medway at 10:00 a.m.
Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway.
