Marie R. (Forgione) Scioletti a retired realtor in Medford, died Saturday at Sawtelle Hospice, Reading. She was 75.
Marie was born and raised in East Boston, the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Forgione. A Medford resident for most of her life, Marie had a wonderful 49-year marriage to her husband “Rocky” until his death two years ago. Marie was a licensed real-estate broker and enjoyed a long career. She also owned Personal Management Co. a firm, which managed condominium buildings. Marie was a long-time member of the Mass. Association of Realtors.
Marie had a vivacious and feisty personality. She was protective of her children and always stayed connected through holiday meals and marking milestones in family members lives. She and Rocky were king and queen of the dance floor during family gatherings as they jitterbugged together to the amusement of family and friends.
The beloved wife of the late Rocco “Rocky” Scioletti, Marie was a devoted mother to Lisa Frotten and her husband Harry of Medford, Paul Scioletti and his wife Teresa of Melrose and the late Linda Scioletti. She leaves her loving grandchildren Gianna, Olivia, Christopher, Nicholas, AJ, and Jake. She was a dear sister to Joseph Forgione and the late Richard Forgione.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Wednesday, April 6th at 10 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4 -8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
