WEBSTER - Leonila (Skulska) Mikolajczak, 87, of Webster, died Thursday, March 31, 2011, in Webster Manor after a short illness. Her husband of 52 years, Chester Mikolajczak, died in 1998.
She leaves 3 sons, Joseph E. Mikolajczak of Palmyra, VA, Anatol J. Mikolajczak of Webster, and Richard C. Mikolajczak of Virginia Beach, VA; 3 grandchildren, 2 twin great granddaughters and a great grandson; nieces and nephews.
She was born in Russia, the daughter of John and Anna (Kondrucki) Skulski. She lived in Germany before moving to Dudley in 1949. She then lived in Worcester and moved to Webster in 1959.
She was a homemaker.
The family would like to expressly thank the nurses and staff at Webster Manor for their compassion and kindness to Leonila and to them.
Mrs. Mikolajczak donated her body to the Harvard Medical School Anatomical Gift Program for biological research.
A memorial Mass will be held in Saint Gregory the Great Church in Virginia Beach, VA at a later date. There are no calling hours. Donations in her name may be made to either St. Gregory the Great Church, 5345 Virginia Beach Boulevard, Virginia Beach, VA 23462 or to the VNA of Southern Worcester County, PO Box 368, Webster, MA 01570 or to a charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St., Webster.
