FALL RIVER…James R. Patricelli, Jr., 78, of Fall River passed away Wednesday March 30, 2011.
He was born in Fall River the son of the late James and Katherine (Urban) Patricelli and had been a lifelong resident of Fall River.
He was a Sargeant in the United States Marines and had served during the Korean Conflict. He was employed by the City of Fall River as a Police Officer for 26 years retiring in 1990. He was a member of The Massachusetts Retired Policeman’s Association, enjoyed walking and was the Greatest Red Sox Fan.
Survivors include a Sister: Patricia Patricelli of Boston, and several cousins. Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Monday at 9AM from the BOYKO MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME 709 Broadway Fall River followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30AM at Holy Rosary Church on Beatti Street, Fall River. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be Sunday from 5 – 8 PM .
