Obituary

S. HAMILTON: Georgia Ann (Bouchard) Gray, 76, formerly of Gloucester, passed away unexpectedly on March 28, 2011.
Born on July 24, 1934 in Millinocket, Maine, she was the daughter of the late George and Anna (Files) Bouchard. She was married to James Robert Gray, 85, of Pittsburgh, PA, now residing in Danvers, MA. Georgia graduated as valedictorian of her class at Schenck High School in East Millinocket, ME. She attended both Husson and Merrimac Colleges, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work/Child Services. She worked for several years as a supervisor for the State of Massachusetts Office for Children.
Georgia was a devout Christian. Her faith in Jesus was unwavering and true. She was a member of the Cape Ann Bible Church in Gloucester. Georgia had a wonderful sense of humor and was incredibly proud of her children. Her children take great joy in remembering her laughter, along with her love for family, the beach, sunshine, Mt. Katahdin, her books and reading.
Georgia is survived by six of her children, Colleen Gray Sock and her husband, Christopher of Ontario, CA, Christopher Gray of Gloucester, Stuart and his wife, Colleen Gray of Hamilton, Stephen and his wife, Nancy Gray of Greenville, NC, Theresa Gray of Gloucester, and Susanna Gray Casper and her husband, Michael of South Boston; beloved brother and sisters-in-law of Richard and Lori Bouchard of Houston, TX and Helen Bouchard of East Millinocket, ME; a son-in-law, Giuseppe Palazzolo of Gloucester; nine grandchildren, Cory and Christian Gray, Erin Victorine and Catie Gray, Kyle, Andrew and Evan Gray and Francesca and Carlo Palazzolo and many nieces and nephews across the country. She was also predeceased by her beloved daughter, Jenifer Palazzolo, passed away in 2009 and her brother, Robert Bouchard.
A memorial service will be held in Georgia's honor on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at the Cape Ann Bible Church, 8 Thompson St. Gloucester (off of Concord St.) at 4 PM with reception to follow. The family requests in lieu of flowers, that any donations be made in her memory to the Cape Ann Bible Church, 8 Thompson St., Gloucester, MA 01930.
