THELMA G. LORMAN of Hull, died on Monday, March 28th, 2011 at the Cardigan Nursing Home in Scituate. Daughter of the late Havelock and Gertrude (Dyer) Lorman. Ms Lorman was born in Hull and was a 1939 graduate of Hingham High School. For over 60 years she was a bookkeeper of the Jacques Company and Jacques Associates of Boston. She was an avid golfer and past treasurer of the Rockland Ladies Golf Association. In addition, Ms Lorman was a member of the 19th Holers of Weymouth and the Tuesday Night Bowling League in Hull.
She leaves her Special Friend, Irl H. VonIderstein of Scituate; and was the aunt of, Janet M. Lorman of Beverly, Eileen L. Sanders of Worcester, Robert E. Lorman of Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, Michael J. Lorman of North Quincy, David A. Lorman of Plymouth, NH and Richard E. Lorman of Hull. Also survived by many grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by her brothers; George H. and Edwin A. Lorman.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 9th at 10 AM at St. Ann's Church, corner of Samoset Ave. and Lewis St., Hull. Visiting hours and flowers omitted by request. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Activities Dept. of Cardigan Nursing Home, 59 Country Way, Scituate, MA 02066.
