Robert Binney Greer, 54, of Milford, died peacefully in his sleep at the Metrowest Medical Center in Natick on March 20, 2011 after a long illness. He was the beloved husband of Irina (Golik) Greer.
Born in Boston, son of the late Robert Greer and Christina Binney Wheeler, Robert graduated from Newton North High School - Class of 1975. He went on to study at the Franklin Institute of Technology. Bob was a lifelong mechanic who finished his career with Framingham Ford.
The most important aspect of Roberts life was his family, especially his beloved little girl, Christina, who he cherished and adored.
He was the devoted father of Robert Greer, Jr. of Millis, Timothy Greer of Newton, Nicholas Greer of South Boston, Roman Greer of Milford, and Christina Greer of Milford; dear brother of Christopher Greer of Pasadena, CA, Laura G. Moehrke of Wakefield, R.I., and Susan Gildar of Scottsdale, AZ; and former husband of Maryann Greer of Millis.
Visiting hours will be held in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St. (at Natick Common) NATICK on Thursday, March 31, 2011 from 6-8 PM. A private burial service will be held in the Spring at the Walnut Hill Cemetery in Brookline where he will rest alongside his mother.
