Obituary

Bradford, MA – Raymond G. “Ray” Lasonde, 60, passed peacefully Sunday at the Lawrence General Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Ray, the son of Paul E. and Yvonne (Demers) Lasonde, was born in Lawrence, MA. He was a graduate of Lawrence High School class of 1969. Ray worked as a Technical Recruiter/Salesman for many years.
He served his country in the United States Air Force before receiving his honorable discharge from the Armed Services.
Ray was an avid Boston sports fan and a force to be reckoned with on the 45’s table, commenting often, “two thirties and I’ll be right there”. He loved to dance, play basketball, golf, bowl, and cruise to the oldies with his wife. Recently, he enjoyed nothing more than playing the role of Papa.

A Funeral Mass will take place on Friday morning at 9 o’clock in Saint Monica’s Church of Methuen.
Friends are asked to come celebrate Ray’s life on Thursday from 4-8 P.M. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc. 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital, 51 Blossom Street Boston, MA
