CRAIG Dorothea “Dot” (Loven) age 79, of Weston, MA peacefully passed away on March 26th 2011.
She was born on June 9th, 1931, the third of four children by Adeline and Nils Loven, and raised in Boston, MA in the Woodbridge Hotel, which her family owned and operated.
She was a graduate of The New England Conservatory of Music, and later taught music for the State of Massachusetts and The City of Newton.
She was a long time supporter and benefactor of the Boston Symphony, and attended a series each season in her reserved chairs for over 40 years.
In 1954 she married Merwin (Joe) Craig, whereupon they settled and built their lifetime home in the town of Weston, MA and raised two children, William and Carol.
Her entire life centered around caring for her husband, children, and later in life her two beloved grandchildren from her daughter Carol and Carol’s husband, Douglas Rohall.
Her endless caring and love will be dearly missed, along with her comical wit and Swedish charm. She was “the hostess with the mostess”, who loved to feed and make others happy.
She leaves behind her husband of 55 years Merwin, her son William Taylor Craig of Weston, her daughter and son-in-law Carol Elizabeth Craig Rohall and Douglas Rohall of Weston, and her two grandchildren Ashley and Hailey Rohall, and her sister Thelma Moeckel of Deerfield, MA.

Funeral service in the Wellesley Hills Congregational Church 207 Washington St. (RT 16) Wellesley Hills, Saturday April 2nd at 11AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Dorothea’s final resting place will be in Linwood Cemetery, Weston.
