Groves, June (Koehler) of Cedar Bushes, Manomet, MA passed away at home on March 26. June was married for 61 years to George Groves, the mother of Craig Groves of Alfred, ME, Thomas Groves of Wells ME, Nancy Naughton of Goldsboro, NC and the proud Grandmother of Shauna McHugh, Cameron Groves and Austin Groves of Wells, ME and Tyler and Nicole Naughton of Buxton, NC. Two great grandchildren, Heath McHugh and Tanner Tufts of Wells ME made her life complete . June graduated from American International College in Springfield, MA and had a working career that included Merchandising at G. Fox & C0., of Hartford, CT; Teaching the Handicapped in Ludlow, MA and as a staffer on the Constitution and Law Committee of the Annapolis, MD Legislature. She was a member of the Maryland and Massachusetts Garden Clubs of America and for many years an avid golfer and bridge player at Bay Hills Golf Club in Arnold, MD and the Plymouth Country Club in Plymouth, MA. A memorial service for family and friends is being planned and will be announced.
