
Mrs. Crystal Niston Pell, age 49, loving wife and devoted mother, of Pilot Mountain, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at her residence. She was born in Surry County on October 5, 1961 to Richard Ervin and Barbara Ann Bowman Welborn. Mrs. Pell was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Pilot Mountain. Mrs. Pell is survived by her loving husband, Joseph Andrew “Andy” Pell, III, of the home, one daughter, Kelly Pell, of the home, one son Adam Pell, of the home, one step-son, Joseph Andrew “Drew” Pell IV and wife (Tracy), of Pilot Mountain, three grandchildren, Dylan Southerland, Katie Pell, and Savana Pell; her father, Richard Ervin Welborn, of Winston Salem, and one sister, Marisa and husband Mark Richardson, of Winston Salem, one niece, Jessy Richardson, and one nephew, Adam Richardson, both of Winston Salem. Mrs. Pell was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Ann Bowman, and one sister, Marsha Sharlean Niston. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at Cox-Needham Chapel at 3:00 P.M. with the Rev. David Wyant officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.
