OBITUARY;EAST BROOKFIELD; Francis H. Green 83 of 113 Evergreen St., died Wednesday, January 14th at his home after a long battle with leukemia. He leaves his wife of 44 years, Helen (Swinington) Green, 4 daughters; Nancy Hale of Ogden, Utah, Joyce Moris of Mayer, Arizona, Frances A. Shannan of Las Vegas, Nevada, Vivian Iddings, Phoenix, Arizona, 13 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by 2 sisters; Charlotte Lamothe and E. Ellise Booth. Born in Spencer, he was the son of Herbert E. and Ella M. (Condon) Green and lived there most of his life before moving to East Brookfield in 1959. Mr. Green was a truck driver for 36 years and drove for Salem Brothers Co. in North Brookfield, retiring in 1985. He was a member of Local 170 Retirees Chapter. He enjoyed motor cycles and working on puzzle books. The funeral service will be held Saturday, January 17th at noon in the J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. A calling hour will be held Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to noon. Following cremation, burial of ashes will be at the convenience of the family. Please omit flowers.
