Janice M. (Groom) Reardon, 67, passed away on March 25, 2011 at Beverly Hospital. She was the wife of Dennis “Joe” Reardon, Jr. with whom she shared 50 years of marriage.
Born in Chelsea on May 14, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Frances (Clark) Groom. Janice was raised and educated in Danvers and graduated from Holten High School in 1961. She had been co-owner of Winter Fuel and Reardon and Sons Oil for many years.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Dennis J. Reardon III and his wife Maureen of Peabody and Scott M. Reardon of Beverly, beloved grandmother of Amanda Grasso, Amy, Adam and Angela Reardon and Krystyna and Dennis “Joey” Reardon, great grandmother of Andrew, Brianna, Noah, Tyler and Jacob and sister of Frank Groom of Tewksbury.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10AM on Wed., March 30, 2011 at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. Visiting hours are Tues. from 4-8PM. Relatives and friends are invited.
