John F. Reveliotis, a resident of Charlestown since the early 1970's, died on Friday, March 25, 2011 at his home in Charlestown following a courageous battle with melanoma. He was 66 years old.
John was born in Boston on July 19, 1944 to the late Alexander N. and Elizabeth D. (Hill) Reveliotis. He grew up in Jamaica Plain where he attended Boston Public Schools and graduated from Jamaica Plain High School in 1962. John also attended Bunker Hill Community College and the University of Massachusetts in Boston. John has been working as an Assistant Clerk Magistrate in Suffolk Superior Court, Civil Division, for over 34 years until his health began to decline. John was a member of The Bunker Hill Associate's and Superior Court Clerk's Association.
John is the devoted and loving husband of 16 years to Paula F. (Corrigan) Reveliotis. He is the beloved brother of Elizabeth "Betty Ann" DeVoe of Braintree, Robert A. Reveliotis of West Bridgewater and Paul P. Reveliotis of Middleboro. He is the beloved nephew of the late Laurence and Barbara (Hill) Rose. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend John's Funeral on Wednesday, March 30, 2011, at 11 a.m. from The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill Street, Charlestown, followed by his Funeral Mass in St. Francis De Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill Street, Charlestown, at 12 noon. Cremation will take place following his funeral mass. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday, March 29, 2011, from 4 to 8 p.m.
