Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rt123) Brockton Thursday at 8 am. Funeral Mass in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Bridgewater at 9 am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Melissa A. Ripley died Saturday at the Brockton Hospital from complications following surgery.She was born in Brockton daughter of Joseph T. and Elizabeth A. “Beth” (Johnson) Ripley of Bridgewater. She was raised in Brockton and was a graduate of Cardinal Spellman High School Class of 1988. For the past 16 years she has been a resident of Bridgewater.
Melissa was a switchboard operator at the Brockton Hospital.
Melissa’s life was her children.
She had been a member of the Rockland Defenders Drum and Bugle Corps. She enjoyed dancing, rollerskating, ice skating, gymnastics and cheerleading.She had been a communicant of St. Thomas Aquinas Church.
