Vincent J. ‘Vinny’ Modica, 81 of Medford, died Friday after a long illness in the Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston, MA.
Born in Boston, he lived in Medford for the past 50 years and was the son of the late Josephine (Teruso) and Joseph Modica. Vincent was the Proprietor of Semi-Conductor Product, Inc. in Lawrence for 25 years and retired in 1990.
Beloved husband of Helen (Queeney) Modica. Devoted father of Catherine Modica of Arlington, Joseph Modica and his wife Judith of Ardsley, NY, Ellen Modica of Newton, Joanne Modica of Boston and Thomas Modica and his wife Donna of Medford. Loving grandfather of Jacqueline, Nicholas, Matthew, Jennifer, Henry and Alison. Brother of Rosemarie Rendini of Medford and the late Frances Sgro and Sonny Modica.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Monday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, at 10 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Sunday 4 - 8.
Interment will be private.
