Louella Davis Pafford, 71, of Fitzgerald, Georgia died Friday, March 25, 2011, at the home of her sister.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M., Sunday, March 27 at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rex Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7-9 Saturday evening at the funeral home.
Mrs. Pafford was born June 26, 1939 in Fitzgerald to the late Harmon R. and Sarah Jane Stapleton Davis. She lived in Fitzgerald all of her life, graduating from Fitzgerald High School in 1957. Mrs. Pafford was a retired telephone operator with GTE and was a former employee of the Liberty National Insurance Office, Badcock’s and B.C. Moores. She was a member of Crossview Baptist Church, formerly Northside Baptist, where she was in charge of the Little People’s Church.
Mrs. Pafford is survived by her sisters: Dean D. Schalch and Sarah D. Garrison, both of Fitzgerald as well as several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Jimmy A. Pafford and a sister, Louise Doolittle.
