Dolores Montgomery, age 87, of Clarksville, TN went
to be with her Lord, Jesus Christ, Wednesday March 23, 2011, at her residence.
The funeral will be held at 1:30 PM Saturday at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Forrest Suddeth officiating. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 7 pm and Saturday beginning at 11 am and continuing until the hour of the service.
Dolores was the daughter of Frank and Molly Travis Rye.
Dolores was born in Big Meadows located in Stewart County, TN April 8, 1923.
In addition to her husband of 37 years, Monty, Dolores leaves behind two daughters, Linda Lehman and Kathy Jenkins (Fred), both of Clarksville, TN; grandchildren, Shane Lehman, Joseph Bryan Jenkins, and Kristy Jenkins; four great-grandchildren, Kayli Lehman, Gracie Lehman, Mallory Lehman, and Thomas Javon Jenkins.
Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Molly Rye; late husband, Edward Doris Bryant; sister, Patsy Hogan; brothers, Floyd Rye, Grover Rye, and Tony Rhye.
Mrs. Montgomery was retired from Montgomery County Manufacturing Company. She also was a enthusiastically wonderful homemaker.
Dolores was baptised at the Rose Hill Church of Christ located at Rocklake, TN. She is a lifelong member of the Church of Christ and a long time member of the Madison Street Church of CHrist.
Dolores will be forever missed and loved by all who knew her.
Pallbearers will be Shane Lehman, J B Jenkins, Tommy Brown, Benny Hogan, James Hogan, and L C Hogan.
