Caruso of Brockton formerly of Randolph Jan. 17, 2004 Frank Caruso 91 years. Devoted husband of Gertrude M. (Stewart) Caruso. Loving father of Dianna E. Shea and her husband Stephen of Brockton and Frank C. Caruso and his wife Melanie of Dover, NH. Grandfather of Danielle and Jonathan Shea of Brockton and Brian Caruso of Manchester, NH and Casey Caruso of Dover, NH.

Funeral Service in the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Wed. at a time to be announced. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 pm. Donations in Frank’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society 1115 W. Chestnut St. Brockton, MA 02301.

Obituary

Frank Caruso 91 years of Brockton died Saturday at the BayPoint Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Brockton after a brief illness. He was born in Salemi, Italy son of the late William and Lucia (Bonasoro) Caruso. He came to the United States at the age of two with his family settling in the North End of Boston. He had been a resident of Randolph for 48 years.

Before his retirement he had worked at Brief Originals in Brockton for many years and previously at Webber Sportswear in Boston for many years. He was a member of the United Garment Workers Union, Local 242.

He enjoyed collecting stamps and corresponding with many stamp dealers. He also loved music and collecting records. He loved to play his harmonica for many people.

He was the husband for 50 years of Gertrude M. (Stewart) Caruso. He is survived by a daughter and a son (as above) 4 grandchildrenHe was the brother of Diana Nickerson of Charlsetown; Mary Koutoudakis of Florida; Angela Martin of Medford; Leo Caruso of Florida and the late Al, Salvatore, Anthony, and Charles Caruso and Rita QuinnHe also leaves many nieces and nephews
