Grace Helen (Scott) Stone, 89, a lifelong resident of Natick, passed away on March 21, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Arthur H. Stone with whom she shared 68 years of devoted marriage.
Born in Natick, the daughter of the late Matthew and Edna (Fairbanks) Scott, Grace was educated in the Natick Schools & was a graduate of Natick High School. She was a much beloved secretary at the Memorial Elementary School in Natick for many years. Grace dedicated her life to caring for other people. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, & friend to all who knew her.
In addition to her husband, Grace is survived by her 3 devoted children, Leonard Stone & his wife Karen of Cary, N.C., Deborah Blake & her husband Tony of Chapel Hill, N.C., & Brenda Clover & her husband William of Natick; her cherished grandchildren, Michael Stone, Erin, Ryan, & Emily Clover; & many dear friends at Coolidge Gardens. She was the sister of the late Charles Scott & Rita Porter.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 10:00 AM in St. Paul’s Church, 500 Washington St. Wellesley. Visiting hours will be held in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St. (at Natick Common) NATICK on Friday, March 25, 2011 from 4-7 PM.
