Mrs. Beatrice “Bea” Gordon Pell, age 80, widow of the late Carl Ray Pell, of Pilot Mountain, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born in Stokes County on December 11, 1930 to the late Robert Lee Sr. and Gradie Alma Mabe Gordon. Mrs. Pell worked as a Seamstress for Belk Industry and was a member of Brim’s Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Pell is survived by one son and a daughter-in-law, Michael and Gina Pell of China Grove; two daughters and sons-in-law, Melinda and Bruce Eiler of Pilot Mountain and Carolyn and James Dugan of Charlotte; seven grandchildren, Jeremy Eiler, Jodie Eiler, Garrett Pell, Daniel Pell, Shaun Pell, Carly Dugan and Ryan Dugan; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Homer and Gaye Gordon and R.L. and Mary Gordon, both of Pilot Mountain; two sisters and brother-in-law, Beverly and Steve Gwaltney and Becky Gordon, both of Pilot Mountain; one brother-in-law, Ray Vogler of Pinnacle; one sister-in-law, Hallie Gordon of Pilot Mountain. Mrs. Pell was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one brother, Harlie Gordon; and one sister, Bernice Vogler. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 25, 2011 at Brim’s Grove Baptist Church at 11:00 A.M with the Rev. Gerald Jones officiating with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 24, 2011 from 6-8 PM at Cox-Needham Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Brim’s Grove Baptist Church, PO Box 1770, Pilot Mountain, NC 27041.
