In Taunton, March 21, 2011 Eleanor Ann Sanborn, age 77 passed away following a brief illness in Morton Hospital. Eleanor was the wife of the late Watson C. Sanborn Jr. She was born in Taunton to her late parents Patrick & Rose (Sheridan) Kiernan. Eleanor was a lifetime resident of Taunton. She was a member of the Oakland Seniors, Taunton TRIAD and enjoyed traveling, visiting NH and spending time with her many friends and family. Eleanor is survived by her children; Michael Sanborn & his wife Cathy of Onset, Rosemary Salamon & husband Jack of Raynham, Patricia Fasci of Taunton, Brian Sanborn & wife Heather of East Taunton. Eleanor leaves her nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Her siblings; William Kiernan, Sheila Freitas and Peg Kelly all of Taunton and the late John Kiernan, Eugene Kiernan and Patricia Vivieros. Also her sister-in-law Patrice White of Raynham and brother-in-law Gerard Sanborn & his wife Shirley of Taunton. Aunt of many nieces and nephews Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St. in Taunton on Friday, March 25th at 9am. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Ann’s Church in Raynham at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Thursday from 4-8pm. Burial will be in the family lot in St. Joseph Cemetery in Taunton.
