COLLINS Margaret Agnes "Peg" In Norwood after a long illness. March 21, 2011 at the age of 57. Peg grew up in Jamaica Plain and later lived in Cambridge, Falmouth and Norwood. She was the beloved daughter of the late Mary P. (Cunniff) and the Late Honorable John F. Collins, Mayor of the City of Boston. Peg was a graduate of Fontbonne Academy and Ithaca College. Prior to retirement, Peg was a systems analyst for Boston Mutual Insurance Company in Canton. She is survived by her devoted companion of 25 years, Lawrence Wilson of Norwood. Sister of Mary Patricia Potter, of Charlotte, N.C., John F. Collins and his wife Louise of Alexandria, Va., Thomas F. Collins and his wife Patricia of Sandwich, Ma. Peg is also survived by her beloved nieces and nephews, Alison, Susan, Jack, Elizabeth, Jesse and June, and her great nieces Cassidy and Emily. Peg was admired by all for her optimism and enduring spirit during her prolonged illness. Upon her wishes, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
