Brenda Collins, 60, of Fitzgerald, Georgia died Saturday, March 19, 2011, at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M., Wednesday, March 23 at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Earlie Holt officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
Mrs. Collins was born September 1, 1950 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late James & Phoebe Royal. She lived in Fitzgerald for the past 20 years from Vidalia. She attended high school in Jacksonville and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Collins worked in management with McDonald’s and CVS Pharmacy.
Mrs. Collins is survived by her husband: Carlton A. Collins of Fitzgerald, son: James “Jim” & Heidi Goss of Vincennes, Indiana; step-sons: Andrew & Gina Collins of Ocilla, Austin & Michele Collins of Fitzgerald, and Alex Collins of Irwin County; granddaughter: Cadie Goss of Vincennes, Indiana; step-grandchildren: Cade Collins and Casey Collins; and one brother: Gary Brown of Jacksonville, FL. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother: Roy Brown.
