Obituary

Denise S. Labrie, 68, of Manchester, died March 19th, 2011 at Massachusetts General Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born on June 14, 1942 in Manchester, the daughter of Francois and Lucia (Boisvert) Boucher. She attended St. Jean the Baptist Grammar School, Villa Augustina and St. George High School.
Prior to retirement in 2008, she had been employed as a pre-press specialist with Moore Business Forms for over 30 years.
Denise enjoyed traveling with her husband, shopping, and playing games of chance. Above all else, she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished the time spent with her family.
She had previously been a longtime active communicant of St. Jean the Baptist Church prior to joining Ste. Marie Parish several years ago.
Family members include her husband of nearly 48 years, Luc L. Labrie of Manchester; her children, David Labrie and wife Mara of Manchester, Rev. Fr. Ray Labrie, Pastor of St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Litchfield, Christine Grady and husband Jim of Chester, Jay Labrie and wife Jess of Goffstown, Philip Labrie and wife Kristen of Colbert, WA; four grandchildren, Grayson, Halsey, and Grace Labrie and Anna Grady; two brothers, Francis Boucher and wife Rebecca of Georgetown, MA, Marc Boucher and wife Joanne of Austin, TX; one sister, Annette Kane and husband Michael of Auburn; several nephews, nieces, and cousins. She was predeceased by two sisters, Lucy Gilbert and Rachel Dewitt.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 in Ste. Marie Church, Notre Dame Ave. Committal prayers followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Road.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 9 St. Francis Way, Litchfield, NH 03052 or the family requests you may have a Mass said in her memory.
