Ralph “Toke” Bertram 70, – of Franklin, Ma. Died Thursday, March 17th, 2011 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston Massachusetts as a result of complications from cardiac surgery. Beloved husband of Mildred (Green), And the Late Hazel Diane Burns (Moulton) of Ocala, Fla.
Born on Friday, October 4th 1940 in Danville, IL. He Was the Son of Mable M (Hinton) and Ray Bertram. Brother of David F. of Townsend, Ma, Donald R. of Saugus, Ma, and Diane Mclean of Franklin, Ma. He attended Rossville High School in Rossville, IL. Then in 1959 he joined The United States Navy.
Besides His wife, He is survived by his 3 Sons Eric E. of Columbia, SC and his former wife Wendy Layman-Bertram of Franklin, Ma. as well as David B Menize of Franklin, Ma and Kyle B and his wife Kellee A. (Trundley)of Franklin, Ma. And 2 Daughters Kymberly M. Crowley of Fountain Hills, AZ and Brenda J. Moniz -Antonia and her husband Donn M. of Franklin, Ma.
He is also Survived by 6 Grandchildren, Corey (25), Madison (16), Rachael (13), Connor (7), Nathan (5) and Samantha (4)
A Memorial in his Honor Will be Held at Oteri Funeral Home located at 33 Cottage street Franklin , Ma. On Wednesday the 23rd of March 2011, between the hours of 4pm – 8 pm. All are invited and encouraged to attend.
