Seventeen year old Natick resident, Ayesha Chauhan, passed away on March 17, 2011 after a brave battle with cancer.
Ayesha attended Brown Elementary School, Wilson Middle School and was a junior at Natick High School. Ayesha loved her hometown of Natick where she lived her whole life. She enjoyed spending time on the Common and also loved shopping with her friends at the Natick Mall. Ayesha practiced Martial Arts and studied dance at local schools. She won many trophies at martial art competitions and was a beautiful dancer of tap, ballet and hip-hop. Ayesha is survived by her parents, Reetu and Dharminder Chauhan and her brother, Krishan, along with many other relatives and friends. Ayesha spent the last months of her life designing beaded bracelets. Ayesha used all of the money she made from the bracelets to buy crafts that continue to bring fun into the lives of other pediatric cancer patients. Ayesha and her family are grateful to her medical team at MGH who gave her such great care in the last two years.
Memorial visitation will be held in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St. (at Natick Common) NATICK on Saturday, March 19, 2011 from 2-4 PM. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ayesha’s name to Mass General Hospital for Children (Pediatric Pain Management), c/o MGH Development Office, 165 Cambridge Street, Suite 600, Boston, MA 02114.
