Obituary

SALEM - Glenn E. Hall, 51, of Salem, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at home.

Glenn was born in Salem on April 27, 1959. He attended Salem Schools and after graduation from Salem High School, he enrolled in classes at the New England Fuel Institute, where he received training to become a licensed Oil Burner Technician. For the past 15 years, Glenn was employed as a technician by Booma Oil Company in Lynn.

Glenn was a good, kindhearted man who enjoyed many things in life such as attending church, spending time with family, friends and his cat, helping others, listening to music, watching movies, especially comedies, camping, fishing with his son and he most enjoyed playing the drums with his church group. He also enjoyed taking classes in kick boxing and karate.

Glenn is survived by his son, Christopher G. Hall, his sister, Rhonda L. Hall, his mother, Alberta C. (Pratt) Leyendecker, his step-father, J. James Leyendecker all of Salem, 3 step-sisters and their spouses, Bonnie & Joe Medina of Peabody, Carol and Roger Watts of Danvers, Joan & Ed Wolkin of Hamilton, a step-brother and his wife, John & Paula Milligan of Amesbury and a step-sister-in-law, Carol Milligan of Ft. Walton Beach, FL. He was the son of the late Ashley R. Hall and was predeceased by one step-brother, Roy E. “Ted” Milligan. His family will miss him greatly.

His funeral service will be held Monday, March 21, 2011 at 10 am in the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common. Burial is in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem. Visiting hours are Sunday, 2 to 5 pm. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. For those who desire, donations may be made in his memory to the charity of one’s choice.
