Alberta Stark of Boston, MA and St. Petersburg, FL, March 12, 2011. She leaves her sister Marie Kauppinen of Westminster, MA and was predeceased by her sister Grace Small of Belmont, MA and her brother, Al Stark of Gilford, NH and St. Petersburg, FL. Six nieces and nephews- Paula Stark of Montclair, NJ, Holly Stark of Red Bank, NJ, Alan Stark of Northborough, MA, Christine Kauppinen of Kahului, HI, John Kauppinen of Charlton, MA and Robert Small Jr. of Belmont, MA.
Alberta attended Clark University in Worcester, MA and performed in The Worcester County Light Opera Company. She was an exceptional fine artist and lived in New York City for many years where she continued her study of art. She received a masters degree from New York University, and was an accountant with Sullivan & Cromwell in New York City. Alberta was also an enthusiastic world traveler- visiting Paris, France over 20 times. She had many friends in St. Petersburg, FL where she would reside for the winter season.
In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the charity of your choice. Family and friends are invited to attend Notre Dame Cemetery's Mausoleum on Saturday, March 26 for a celebration of Alberta’s life, at 10:30 am in Worcester, MA
