Of Brockton and Boston, March 16th Matilda Elizabeth (73) died in the Lemuel Shattuck Hospital Boston after a brief illness. Mrs London was born in Port of Spain, Trinidad-Tobago Daughter of the late Leonard and Ernestine London. She resided in Massachusetts the past 26 years coming from her native country. She was a retired Health Care Provider in various Homes. Matilda was a member of the Lively Stones Christian Center in Abington and served as a Usher. She loved to travel, was proud of learning how to use the computer, and had a life long passion for helping others.
Survivors include 4 sons, Nathaniel of Trinidad-Tobago, John of NY, Otis of Canada and Gerald L Manning. Of Brockton. 1 Daughter Esther Davis of Boston. 9 Grandchildren 1 Great Grandchild. 3 Brothers Levi of Canada, Paul and Joseph London both of New York. 3 Sisters Adina and Agnes London both of Trinidad-Tobago and Elvira London of NY,NY.
Funeral services will be held in the Lively Stones Christian Center 127 N. Quincy St, Abington Tuesday March 22th at 11am. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery. Visitation in the Church from 9am prior to Funeral services.
