SHREWSBURY- Phyllis J. (Bonardi) DeFalco 89, of 925 Main Street and Hyannis, who would have celebrated her 90th birthday on February 3rd died Tuesday January, 13 2004 in Beaumont Nursing and Rehab Center Westborough, after a long illness.
Her husband Joseph J. DeFalco and her son Frank J. DeFalco predeceased her in 1998
She is survived by her daughter, Joan P. Turner of Hadley, and her daughter-in-law, Judith A. DeFalco, with whom she lived, five grandchildren; David J. Turner and his wife Jacqueline of Falls Church, VA, Joseph C. Turner of Marblehead, Jeffrey F. DeFalco, Joan E. DeFalco Matys and her husband Martin, Susan P. DeFalco and her husband Richard E. Greene, all of Shrewsbury, her three great-grandchildren, Jacob M. Matys, Jamie E. Matys, and Julia F. Greene all of Shrewsbury, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was born in Worcester daughter of the late Peter and Carmelina (Carabbio) Bonardi. She was the youngest of 9 children, all whom predeceased her. She was educated in the Worcester Schools. She lived 43 years in Shrewsbury.
Her funeral will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Burial in Mountain View Cemetery will be private. Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home, 648 Main Street is directing arrangements.
