Irene E. Blouin, 97, a resident of Lawrence, MA, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2011 at the Halcyon House in Methuen, MA.
Born in Lawrence, Irene was educated in the Lawrence Schools and was a graduate of Lawrence High School. She was retired from Avco in Wilmington, MA where she had worked in the Accounts Department. Irene was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Good Counsel-St. Augustine's Church in Lawrence.
Members of Irene's family include:
2 brothers: Laurence Blouin of Salem, NH, and Robert Blouin of Lawrence, MA as well as several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. Irene was predeceased by her siblings: William Blouin, Marion Cain, Marguerite Landry, Earl Blouin, Dorothy Lewis, Edward Blouin, Beatrice Legendre, and Richard Blouin.
A Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 18, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury St., Lawrence. Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, also in Lawrence. Family and friends may call on Thursday, March 17, 2011 from 4 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
