Albert Cicoria, of Dorchester, died Saturday, unexpectedly at the Boston Medical Center. He was 79.
Albert was born and raised in Boston’s West End, the son of the late Michael and the late Jenny (D'Angelis) Cicoria. After military service, Albert attended and graduated from Boston College. He worked as a book keeper and accountant until his retirement. A resident of Dorchester for many years, Albert was devoted to his family and friends.
He was the beloved partner of Gerry Viens. He was a devoted brother of the late John Cicoria, Carolyn Contarino, Mary Limone, Ernest Cicoria and Dorothea Reed. He was a dear brother-in-law of Florence Cicoria and is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford Thursday at 9:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St Joseph Church 118 High St. Medford at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit at the funeral home Thursday morning 8:30 - 9:30. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
