David John Landry, 54 of Manchester NH died unexpectedly on Sunday March 13th, 2011 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. He was born in Winchester, MA on November 8, 1956, beloved son of Margaret (Chapman) Landry and the late John L. Landry. David was an avid hockey player, hiker and nature enthusiast who loved spending time in the company of his family and friends. He will be remembered most for his sense of humor, his generosity and compassion for everyone in his life. David believed in the philosophy of work hard/play hard, he will be missed by everyone whose life he touched. David was a New product development Manager for Advanced Precision Engineering in Ipswich Mass.
David leaves behind his loving wife, Lisa Boucher Landry of Manchester, NH, two sons: Marc Landry and his wife Jillian of Pembroke, NH, and Eric Landry of Manchester, NH. Five Stepsons: Jacob Perdue and his wife Deb of Ashland, NH, Brad Boucher and his wife Casey of Old Orchard, ME, Travis Boucher of Brooklyn, NY, Chadd Boucher of Laconia, NH and Derek Boucher of Manchester, NH, and his beloved mother, Margaret Landry of Derry. He is also the beloved brother of Sue Petrin and her husband Ron of Derry, NH and the loving grandfather of Cole John Landry of Pembroke, NH and Kain Perdue of Ashland, NH, and was the uncle of Jacquelyn Petrin of Manchester and Daniel Petrin of Derry. David also leaves behind many other family and friends.
Following cremation, a celebration of life was held on Saturday March 19th at 11:00am in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A calling hour was held prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00am.
