Salem, NH- Lorraine J. (Arsenault) Moran, 81, died Monday, March 14, 2011 at the Salem Haven Nursing Home in Salem, NH with her devoted husband of 63 years, Joseph J. by her side.
Born on November 11, 1929 in Lawrence, Lorraine was the daughter of Albert and Mary (Pineau) Arsenault.
Lorraine was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who devoted her life to her home and family. Once her children were grown, Lorraine worked as a store clerk at various stores including McQuaid’s and Lady Grace.
In her younger years, Lorraine was a member of the “Stanley’s Ladies” Association. She was very active in the Salem Senior Center and enjoyed square dancing as well as painting landscapes in oils for her family. Her family was her pride and joy and meant the world to her. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Lorraine will be deeply missed by her husband, Joseph J. Moran of Salem, NH, her two children, James F. Moran and his companion, Fran Nault of Lawrence, and Ellen M. Pelletier and her husband Ronald of Manchester, NH. She is also survived by her 4 beloved grandchildren, Nicole, Scott, and Lindsay Pelletier and Danielle Moran and her brother Albert Arsenault and his wife Yvette of Methuen and her sister, Carol Cooke and her husband John of VT., step-brother, Ferand Isabelle of New Orleans, LA, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was pre- deceased by her son Thomas M. Moran and her sister Edna Paulukaitis who died March 8th 2011.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and Friends may pay their respects from 9:30-11a.m. on Friday morning, March 18th, at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence St., Methuen. A Funeral Service will take place at 11 a.m. following calling hours at the Funeral Home.
