Celine G. Guillemette 92, formerly of 40 Washington St. Woonsocket, died Thursday at The Friendly Home. She was the wife of the late Roger J. Guillemette. Born in St. Etienne De Bolton, PQ, Canada, she was a daughter of the late Archille and Alpherida (Bachand) Decelles. Mrs. Guillemette spent most of her time as a homemaker taking care of her family and also worked part time at the former Almac's Supermarket for twenty five years. She was a member of the Woonsocket Senior Center and St. Agatha's Senior Citizens.
She is survived by two sons, Roger G. Guillemette and his wife Christine of Davenport, FL and Robert P. Guillemette and his wife Michele of Burrillville, a daughter Michelle L. Leech and her husband Glenn of Woonsocket, a sister Sr. Simone Decelles FMM of North Providence, three grandchildren, Kathryn James, John Guillemette and Brian Guillemette, and five great- grandchildren, Stephen, Chloe, Matthew, John and Sophie. She was also the sister of the late Lionel, Raymond, Carmel, and Eddie Guillemette, Sr. Leora Decelles RJM and Rina Turcotte.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Agatha's Church, Joffre Ave. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Activities Fund of Senior Services Inc., 84 Social St. Woonsocket, in her memory.
